Trees in the Urban Environment talks

4 informative and thought provoking talks to be given by Dr Jan Woustra and Dr Camilla Allen, University of Sheffield.

In this series of inter-related talks, Yorkshire Gardens Trust members, Dr Woudstra and Dr Allen explore various aspects of our relationship with trees:

Week 1 - Trees in the Urban Environment

Week 2 - The ‘Right to Plant’: a political history of roadside tree planting in the Netherlands

Week 3 - A Man of the Trees: the life of Richard St Barbe Baker (1889-1982)

Week 4 - Commemorating with Trees: three forms, three stories

This ticket costs £16 for the entire course of 4 sessions or you may purchase a ticket for individual sessions, costing £5. Attendees will be sent a Zoom link 2 days prior to the start of the talk, and again a few hours before the talk. A link to the recorded session (available for 1 week) will be sent shortly afterwards.
