Day visit

York Gate

Leeds, LS16 8DW
White Garden York Gate

Description

Image reproduced with kind permission of Clive Nichols

An opportunity to visit the Perennial owned Grade 2 registered garden which was created by the Spencer family between 1951 and 1994. The garden is designed as a series of “rooms”, very much in the Arts and Crafts style, and is maintained and developed in sympathy with the Spencers’ design.

We will start with tea/coffee and biscuits and will have a bespoke tour of the garden with the Head Gardener, following which members will have access to the garden for the remainder of the day.

The cafe is open for lunch; please note that picnics are not allowed in the garden

Tickets cost: £20.00 YGT members, £22.00 non-members
