Stonefall Cemetery

A Stonefall Cemetery guide will take you on a tour of the cemetery which covers the history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, who is commemorated and some casualty stories. It takes the visitor on a tour of the site from a First World War burial, to the Services Plot before ending in the large Air Force plot. The end point of the Air Force plot is where over 900 of the casualties are buried and where there is lots of horticulture to look at and you will be able to wander around freely with the guide on hand to answer any questions. One of the gardeners may also be available to answer your questions.
The tour takes approximately 75 minutes.
The ground is level and it will be a mix of walking and standing on paths / grass.
Ticket cost: £8.00 YGT members and non-members

- completion of the booking form sent to members which can be returned by post to: The Events Secretary, 5 Belle Vue Terrace, Bellerby, DL8 5QL and including a cheque payable to Yorkshire Gardens Trust
