New Research and Recording report on Esholt Hall park and gardens

Esholt Hall was built by Sir Walter Calverley in 1706-9 and he laid out gardens and pleasure grounds around it including a walled garden, bowling green, ponds, plantations and walks.

New research blog on Thomas White's letters

The landscape designer, Thomas White (c. 1736-1811), had a long career during which he worked at over 90 sites across northern England and Scotland, providing improvement plans and often carrying out their implementation.

New Research and Recording report on Denton Park

Denton Park hall, dating from the 1770s, sits in a designed landscape that was first developed in the 16th century with extensive deer parks stretching from the river to the high moorland.
